Yes of course, most of swing shutters of the market can be motorised by Somfy regardless of the material, type and dimensions. 

Somfy motorised systems are compatible with most swing shutters, whether solid or louvred. For each shutter (new or existent) and material (wood, aluminium or PVC), Somfy will find a custom solution that’s right for you!

The points to check before selecting a motorised system:
1. Number, size and weight of each shutter. 
2. Position of the shutter hinges. 
3. The space available to install the motor. 
4. Where would you like the motor installed? Under the lintel, in the middle, or at the bottom? 
5. What colour would you like for the motor housing? Several colours are available. 
6. Is there a power supply near the windows in question?
