Select the motorised system that’s right for you.
-
The points to check before selecting a motorised system for your interior blinds:
1. Type of installation. The size of your windows and the weight of your interior blinds have an impact on the torque exerted by the motorised system you’ll select. For larger windows or heavier blinds, you’ll have to select a motorised system with greater torque.
2. Quiet motorised systems. To obtain the excellent acoustic performance offered by the Sonesse® range, we recommend that you: - Use the “Designed for Silence” accessories for the Sonesse® range or the ranges offered by our partners. - Select a smooth fabric. - Install the solution with care.
3. Available power supply. A power supply must be available near the motor. These Somfy products must be installed by a professional.
-
When linked to a Connectivity kit, TaHoma app’s features are limited. The Connectivity kit does not allow programming. However, you can create them, under certain conditions, from your Voice Assistant’s app (with the use of an additional Voice Assistant).

Not at all. Somfy home automation solutions can be installed just as easily in new buildings as during renovation operations.

To install Somfy motorized equipment, you can contact the Somfy registered installer near you or even ask for a quote online. The points to check before starting:
1. Do you have a good Internet connection? An Internet connection is required to connect your equipment.
2. Compatible products differ depending on the home automation box you choose. See the previous question for more information.
3. To optimise radio range, we recommend you put the box in an open area at the centre of your home. -
Certainly. All you need to do is add an RTS receiver which will centralize your orders and transmit them to the motors via the existing wiring. And if you subsequently add another RTS product, it won't need to be wired to the control point.
